| << Back to News Listings Baldwin Park’s Landscape Architect Wins Award Orlando, FL – July 16, 2008 – Baldwin Park’s landscape architect, Glatting Jackson Kercher Anglin, Inc., received a 2008 Design Award from the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects for its work on Baldwin Park’s community parks. Baldwin Park features 15 community parks, more than 200 acres of lakes and more than 50 miles of walking paths, pedestrian benches and rest areas. Chartered in 1959, the Florida Chapter ASLA is the state-level professional association for landscape architects, representing approximately 1,000 members throughout Florida in 10 professional sections and student chapters at three Florida universities. Located two miles east of downtown Orlando, Baldwin Park is a mixed-use, 1,100-acre, master-planned community built on the site of the former Orlando Naval Training Center. The development team has received many awards for their strides in military base redevelopment and environmental remediation.
