<< Back to News Listings Winter Park Library announces Pre-Bash, Bash and After Bash Event!   To help raise money for this year’s Winter Park Public Library 'Bash for Books', BullFish is sponsoring a wine tasting January 21 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. For just $25, guest will enjoy wines, beers and sake at five different stations throughout BullFish’s lovely new location in Baldwin Park. There will be light appetizers and a raffle to win a private in-home wine tasting from PRP Wines International, valued at over $400. In addition, BullFish will donate 10 percent of all purchases made in the store that evening to the Winter Park Public Library. Tickets can be purchased at the Library, BullFish or online at the Library website: www.wppl.org and are on sale now.   The Winter Park Public Library is celebrating its 125th year in 2010 and was voted best library in Florida for five straight years. The Library is a 501(c)(3) charity and raises 40 percent of its operating budget from nongovernmental sources   This year’s Bash for Books theme is Around the World in 80 days and will be held March 13. Guests will enjoy international gourmet eats from local restaurants including Logan’s Bistro, Nonna Trattoria ed Enotoca, Chez Vincents and El Bodegon and premium wines from PRP Wine International to match at each food station. Sway to tunes by “No Smoking”, a 5-piece jazz band and bid on incredible travel deals, getaways and other exciting items at the live and silent auctions. All of this will be held at the Winter Park Public Library – totally transformed into a special 4 hour vacation that transports you to foreign lands.   Then the fun continues at our NEW exclusive “After-Bash” party which will be held immediately following the Bash at Hannibal’s on the Square. Bash attendees will enjoy specially priced drinks and live entertainment until the wee hours of the morning! Tickets for Bash for Books will be $75 in advance ($100 day of event) and include event admission, food, wine and the After-Bash event. They are limited to the first 350 sold and will go on sale January 13 at www.wppl.org/bash. Tickets can be reserved in advance by e-mailing mgcoffee@wppl.org.
